How is this different from a regular Arabic dictionary?+
Regular dictionaries give you Modern Standard Arabic, which nobody speaks at the dinner table. This one is spoken Palestinian: the words, the pronunciations, and the plural and verb forms as they're actually used. Over a thousand entries have audio recorded by a native speaker, and the rest carry the forms and meanings in a spelling you can read.
What does the Everyday / Educated filter do?+
Some words in the lexicon are literary borrowings you'd read in the news but rarely hear in the street. The filter separates them, so a learner can stick to words that earn their keep in conversation and switch views when reading formal Arabic.
Can I type in Arabic script?+
Yes, with or without vowel marks. You can also type the 3/7 romanization (3 for ع, 7 for ح), rough chat spelling, or plain English. The search figures out which one you're using.
